Most of the writers are unaware of the simple difference between the article and a blog. Besides the length of each, the main difference unknown to the writers is that blogs are opinionated, whereas the articles are research-based. This reason mainly make blogs being charged lesser than the articles by the freelancing or the writing companies.
When we talk about the wordiness of each, blogs can be a maximum of 1000 words, whereas an article can range anywhere from 1000 to 1500 words. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is another critical factor that must be taken into account while writing down a blog as they are SEO friendly. The writing style has to be casual for blogs with no external search and editors required where, on the contrary, the articles are sophisticatedly written, edited, and published by some print media.
Blogging or writing in general, a writer needs to know his audience and must write an audience-centric content to ensure the message is communicated clearly. What do you all think? Write to us in the comments section below and share what differences you think are between the two.
